Happy Chinese New Year!  We are so thankful for 2016 but with any new year we always look forward for bigger and brighter things to come.  The past couple months have been crazy, with remodeling, to getting more things on the shelves and the most exciting, getting BEER.  Whats next for us is getting more product in, getting way more beer in, and start selling more things from our website.  So come often, come always and check out what's new!  Also, if you didn't get yours yet, we still have some Chinese New Year Calendars (pictured below).  Just ask us for one, they're FREE.

 

It's that time of year, where we take out our extra blankets, roll out our space heaters (that doubles our energy bills), and bring out the darker beers to warm our tummies. If you slept on the release this year of the Goose Island Bourbon County Stout, don't worry we still have a couple bottles left.  But if that doesn't interest you, we always stock the usual like Deschutes Obsidian Stout, Victory's Storm King Stout, Mission Brewery's Dark Seas and our seasonal favorite, Ballast Point's Victory at Sea.  So skip the egg-nog, save your calories and drink dark, its just the best time for it.  Oh and here's a cute picture of our shop dog Little Chief the pug, showing us how he gets cozy.

Voted by us, the best hipster beer we've seen that's worth trying.  How often can you say that a beer is hipster and good? This is our first, hopefully won't be our last.  So if you have an awesome 'stache or a flannel from the 90's, we've got a beer to go with it. New to our shelves is Kern River  Brewing, from Kernville CA (near Bakersfield). With 2 beers ranked in the top 50 from beeradvocate.com  (Citra and Class V), this is not a brewery to miss.

Also just in from  Propolis Brewing (Townsend, WA), we have Melissa and Granette, both very unique saisons worth trying.
